Missions

“…make disciples of all the nations…” Matthew 28:19

The Missions Ministry Team exists to promote and support the proclaiming of the gospel of Jesus Christ cross culturally, by individual missionaries and organizations both within and outside of the USA.

Promotion: Through hosting missionaries and missionary candidates we desire to expose the people of Monroe to consider the importance of their role in financial and prayer support. We also hope that as missionaries visit with and speak to us that God would at the same time speak to the hearts of those he may be calling to go to the mission field.

Financial Support: We budget funds from Monroe to be sent to missionaries that we have examined and desire to support financially. Currently Monroe supports fourteen individuals on the mission field (five overseas and nine stateside) and eight mission organizations.

Opportunities to serve with Missions
• Communicate with missionaries via e-mail or letter writing
• Helping with White Cross projects (cutting, sewing, etc.)
• Giving money to help with shipping items overseas
