Worship Team

The purpose of the Worship Team is to help those at the worship services to more fully experience worship as they center their focus on the Lord Jesus Christ. The greeters and ushers help to set a friendly, comfortable atmosphere as they welcome people and offer assistance as needed in the church entry and worship center. The sound technicians and projection operators assist in worship as they blend the instruments and voices of the music leaders and project the words and images of worship to the front of the sanctuary. Those who schedule and provide special music help worshippers further focus on the goodness of the Lord as they share. Finally, the musicians lead fellow worshippers into the presence of the Lord through well planned musical worship.

Currently, Monroe has two worship teams that take turns month by month in leading the worship service. Together, the combined service of the Worship Team helps to point the way to the throne of grace where all can freely worship the Lord Jesus Christ.
